Instead, the page should have an easily-found tab that they can quickly locate and click on to get to the page they want.

- Don’t overload your website with a ton of pop-up ads, banners, external ads, videos or links – this will cause too much distraction.
- Don’t throw a bunch of irrelevant ads all over your webpages. Sure, you might be tempted to try to make a little more cash with ads, but if they have nothing to do with your business, or are overloading your pages, you’ll just wind up turning off your visitors and cause them to back out of your site.
- Don’t stuff your web pages full of keywords. Of course, you want to optimize your pages for SEO as much as ethically possible, but overdoing it with the keywords will not only make the text a poor read for your visitors, it’ll also cause red flags to spring up, which Google will undoubtedly notice.
