  • Footer – 5.25 seconds

Above the fold or not?

While it’s been widely proposed that keeping important information above the fold is recommended, it may surprising to hear that many people are actually quite comfortable scrolling down to find the information they’re looking for. Consider the following:

  • 76% of web pages are scrolled by users
  • 66% of content below the fold is paid attention to
  • 22% of web pages are scrolled all the way to the bottom

Paying attention to how people actually view your site can significantly boost conversions, and therefore pad you bottom line.
